First time using my Goodbye Flys prize I won from the Mole Avon Competition today.
Ginger has been super itchy during the hot weather and has barely started shedding his winter coat. After a lovey bath and pamper with this he is a very happy boy, there were also noticeably less tail swishes in the field.

We have a mare that started with an allergic reaction to hibiscrub, which then got infected. After a long recuperation period she then went in to become allergic to all sorts of things that she never had been, like wool and sheepskin. It really got very bad and riding her became difficult at times as she would bite her skin so bad that her hair would fall out. I read about these products and Sarah Dawe contacted me and we spoke at length. She was very helpful to say the least, she was very empathetic and had a genuine concern for our beloved mare.
We spoke at length several times and I sent her photos. She recommended the shampoo and the spray which we purchased and started using immediately. It definitely soothed her skin and made her less irritable. The products smell amazing and made her coat very soft and shiny.
We have continued to use these products for the last 2 years and use the spray daily in the spring and summer when the flies are bad. It will continue to be in my tack room/ grooming box indefinitely or as long as we own her or horses.
She won her ridden Section D class last year at the RI despite having had a flare up just a few weeks before so had bald patches on her back🙈

Recently obtained the show shine and organic equine shampoo. I tried this out the weekend as I have a horse of the year show qualifier coming up soon. I wash my coloured geldings tail in a different shampoo and washed his mane in the organic equine shampoo, the difference was amazing his mane came up so white and soft. I will definitely be recommending this product to my horsey friends and using both products for my qualifier. Amazing products will be using from now on.
I use it for my Clydesdale stallions feathers and it leaves them looking so white as well as helping treat his mallanders and sallanders. I’ve also just started to use it on my Labrador who suffers from itchy skin (she’s on two tablets a day of Apoquel @£1.20 a tablet) and on day two of no medication and just using your shampoo she’s stopped itching! Amazing stuff!!!
The shine, a full mane and no itching! Why would you want to use anything else?
My mare has always been super itchy and reactive to the flies. The shampoo not only keeps her clean (she’s grey 🙈) but stops the irritability she gets. The spray is the only one I have found to actually keep the flies away and means I can ride her in the summer months without her being bothered. The are great products that every yard would benefit from.

By far the best product I’ve used on my sweetitch pony. He’s super sensitive to so many products but not this! He falls asleep during a bath in the shampoo. First year he’s not taken his mane, tail, legs and face out rubbing! I can bring him in and he stands still and relaxed rather then rubbing on the stable wall 😍 love love LOVE it!! I've spent ages looking for a fly spray that would help my sensitive skinned, pink nosed spotty pony and had to be very careful what I used as anything could cause him to have a major reaction - I found Goodbye Flys after some research on the internet I can wholeheartedly say that this fly spray actually works! Goodness where to start with the review, I used the spray and it’s benefited both my little and large! This product smells amazing and leaves you horse looking absolutely fantastic. See the photos and how gorgeous she looks? The spray leaves her coat looking so nice. This product is multi purpose and therefore cost effective. It helped regrowth for a Friesian mare, helped my little pony from itching hers out and regrow that as well! It worked as a fly repellent also !! It does have a very unique smell and is quiet strong but I personally liked it! I like something that keeps them smelling good, especially if it helps the horse.
The company are super humble, kind and informative. I met them all in person originally and they are so friendly and approachable; kindness shows in products and this brand certainly do that! I hope to see you guys again one day x

After having a ginger sweet itch sensitive horse for the past two years with nothing successfully preventing him scratching, I am super impressed with this product.
We arrived at Bicton on Friday to have an impromptu stay over for two days after a terrible journey. Unfortunately, I didn’t have his fly rug with him and within 5 minutes of being in the stable he’d rubbed himself almost raw.
We got a bottle of the goodbye flys wash and used it to bath him on Saturday morning. His coat is gleaming now and his scars have gone AND no more scratching! I can’t quite believe that as nothing has stopped him in the past!
Highly recommend and will be using again in the future!

Our mini dachshund has had really bad skin since we had her from a puppy. We have tried everything - diet, washing powders for bedding, creams etc. After talking to Sarah Dawe about our itchy pony I jokingly said oh my dog needs this shampoo too!! Little did I realise that Goodbye Flys already had a dog shampoo - so please take a look at the pictures below - in just 2 weeks and 3 baths look at the improvement!!!! Unbelievable and she is far less itchy (and smelly) too! Her colour is now rich and her coat shiny - one happy Pickle !
I simply don’t buy any other shampoos now, even works wonders on my grey ‘white’ horse.
We started using Goodbye Flys products at the beginning of January after a long telephone conversation with Sarah Dawes who was so helpful and knowledgeable. We have 5 event horses and ponies and one in particular had an itchy scurfy and dull coat. After just two days of incorporating the show sheen into our grooming regime all our horses coats were looking shinier and our itchy girl was far less itchy and her coat is now looking amazing!

I have just recently purchased Goodbye Flys spray and Shampoo from JHC Equestrian which I used for the first time yesterday. My horse has never looked so shiny and his white socks and tail look amazing. He hasn't itched over night so hoping that after a few days of using the product as instructed the horse flies will leave him alone too. Excellent product.
My boy is a blue and white coloured so needs a lot of washing to keep him looking respectable. I’m delighted with how clean the goodbye flys shampoo gets him with minimum effort. It also seems to be clearing up his scurfy legs, which no other product has managed!
Can’t rate this product high enough. Had a pony with a severe skin issue and could not get it sorted. I came across Goodbye Flies and got one bottle of shampoo and spray!! I love the Goodbye Flys coat shine and shampoo. They have done wonders for my black mare who at 17 started reacting to midge bites (she is kept near a river now, whereas before it was the coast). The shampoo soothes the itching, relieves the dandruff from the itching, and gives her a great shine. Add the spray and she gleams! The other added benefit is that it makes my grey look absolutely picture perfect and gets out all the stains! True convert �

I've used both products on my coloured plaited show horse and a traditional cob... The shampoo works amazingly well on both the coloured's white bits and the traditional's hairy bits. The fly spray does what it says on the tin and leaves their coats so shiny!

Woody is a big 17hh bay gelding who happens to be the favourite food of many flies, midges and ticks. He is also a massive softie who reacts to be eaten - cue bald bloody patches around his forelock (which last all summer) and weeping angry red swollen bites that strip his hair from his skin (which take weeks and weeks to re-grow).
Over the years I've tried hundreds of products and have developed my own "system" to help reduce the likelihood of him being bitten and also his reactions. Not to mention the faff of having to only lunge/ride bareback or working without a noseband/headpiece to allow the bites to heal!
I've been using Goodbye Flys on Woody since mid January, not everyday I'll add as flies currently aren't an obvious issue. We've had 2 separate tick finds (first a few on his face and the second on his neck about 10 days apart). Both came up as lumps, but have only gone to a "normal" scab, which hasn't been angry or red or swollen or oozed and healed within a couple of days! AND no hair stripping �
I'm a bit worried about writing this review in case I jink our current success but I've got a 5 litre pot now sat in my tack room ready for the summer war!

Nothing worked and my little chap remained itchier than a dog with fleas.

We started a few weeks ago, and already there is a notable difference. And it’s worth bearing in mind we have had midge activity until this last cold snap.
I’m beginning to believe we can do some showing this year. Because his mane is growing back. And his shoulders and withers have lost that scurfy, dull look.
Shock horror I don’t even apply it every day (although I will as the season progresses!)

We had a breeding mare who is in foal that came up with dry patches of skin on all four legs. We used the Goodbye Flys spray daily for two weeks and it's just about cleared up!! Great stuff and super safe to use on breeding mares due to its natural ingredients. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! We are MFS Studfarm will be making sure we have a stock of this super product as you can use it during the winter and summer!
I have been using Goodbye flys now for 2 weeks. I have a mare who is extremely sensitive to clipper oil. She had areas of varying degrees of lumps and bumps. I have been applying the spray twice a day and she has also had a bath using the Goodbye flys shampoo (following product instructions) during this time. There were 2 bad patches on her, 1 of these has completely cleared up and the other patch is 3/4 of the way there. I am always rather sceptical when trying new things but for once I am bowled over with how fabulous Goodbye flys really is. Thank you for developing it and I look forward to many years of use.

Much more effective and speedy results than mud fever treatments on the market. Also had success using for rain scald on my youngsters head! Would highly recommend to anyone. My go to product for coat shine, fly repellent and now mud fever prevention!

I was introduced to Goodbye Flys spray by a friend as I was using different sprays for different jobs! My horse hates fly spray and I found out it was the smell. However when I sprayed Goodbye Flys he was not bothered at all it smells great. In the short time I used it his coat went from slightly dull to lots of shine. He's also never had a tail it constantly looked like a bog brush and masses missing too inbetween scabs and cuts. For many years have tried various products that he's been allergic to, last year he came out in massive blisters all over his body and was on antibiotics for a long time, he's also had dectomax injections with no luck. Evertime he was tied up or stabled he would rub continuously driving us both mad � .He was a nightmare to stable! I started using goodbye flys this December after contacting Sarah and it was the best thing I did for my boy! In under a week his rubbing complety stopped I was no longer going into his paddock to find half my horse wedged in the hedges � and tying him up he doesn't itch at all! In his stable he's much calmer just stands with his head over the door, his hair is growing back lovely and I have Sarah to thank for that!! Having witnessed the the constant irritation, soreness and pure misery sweet itch causes the ponies in our lives, and having seen traditional and alternative treatments either having no effect or providing just minimal relief, it was with hope but little expectation this new product would be any different. How wrong we were!! The ponies were quite frankly fed up with humans applying treatments to their sore areas, with one pony protesting with her hooves, one running away and one hiding! But they very quickly realised this was something very different! They stood still whilst the Goodbye Flys product was applied, and seemed to know this was helping them. The difference has been amazing! Not only has the irritation subsided in each pony and their wounds healed, also their hair, manes and tails are growing back. Literally red raw, bleeding and no hair, to a complete transformation. This gentle product is easy to apply, smells wonderful and has very quick results. We would recommend this without hesitation! It really is wow!!

I have clipped lots of horses that have been using Good Bye Flys and it really makes there coats smooth and clip off so easily leaving a very shiny coat underneath!

I have clipped lots of horses that have been using Good Bye Flys and it really makes there coats smooth and clip off so easily leaving a very shiny coat underneath!

Having tried goodbye flys on all 3 of my horses, results have been great!! One tb is super sensitive to everything and comes out in hives for a past time. Winter coat/skin issues... The spray as been amazing, my TB has super sensitive skin & a terrible dry coat often with bald patches and hot lumps all winter (though his coat is amazing in the summer). The sprays has reduced sensitivity, soothed the bald patches (so hair is regrowing) and his coat has never felt so good ��

I have an 18 month old colt who joined my herd of 3 mature horses at 2 days old with his mother. They all live out 24/7 in approx 9 acres. He was the most relaxed foal and nothing seems to phase him, even one of the herd that has always had low tolerance with other horses has slowly built a close relationship and now even shares food with the colt. So the colt had 12 months of happy life, could have been better if there had been another youngster but generally most of his needs where met.
This spring when 13 months old there was not sign of midge irratation and was happy, playful and very easy to handle and loved to be touched, happy to lift his hooves and even enjoyed having them trimmed as he loved being scratched and this was his reward. His owner decided that she wanted to wean him so took the mare away without any build up, she was ridden away and never came back. This caused huge anxiety in the herd, not just the foal, calling for the first day and they where very reactive for sometime following.
I didn't monitor the time but within a matter of weeks he started rubbing his main and tail, and this became progressively worse, his whole character changed he was becoming less tolerant, you couldn't reward by scratching as this became slightly manic, didn't want his feet pick up, would snatch at treats, he was being driven mad by the itching. Plus driving me mad and destroying my fencing, field shelters anything he could rub on. His owner did try a couple of midge treatments but they didn't really stop the problem, just eased it for a short while. By the end of the summer you could see in his eyes he was really not a happy pony.
My bare foot trimmer saw the difference in him and another of her customer told her about this product. So I decided to get some Goodbye Flys for him as couldn't bear to see his sad face morning and night when I went down to see them all. I appreciate that we are not in the height of midge season but here in Surrey the weather has been warm and damp and midges have still been around, I know as they love my head torch and still biting me!
Since using it the manic itching has stopped, his coat is shiny, his tail and mane no longer resemble a bog brush and is starting to grown back. Over the past few weeks he is now back to his cheeky self, although this does mean he has been back up to mischief jumping out into the resting fields, encouraging the old guys to play crazy nip and chase games and generally having lots of fun, with happy, bright eyes . I can thoroughly recommend this product

After months of our old dartmoor pony itching and driving himself and us crazy and spending endless amounts on different feed supplements for itchy problems i was so pleased when watching someone elses post with the same problem only a week ago for sarah to message me to tell me about this fantastic product. After reading all the info about what goodbye flys can treat i knew i had to try it, so the very next day i did that and i am very impressed with the difference it has made to our pony already, his coat is lovely and shiny and he is not driving himself crazy rubbing. I have 4 with sweetitch .. one cob ive had for 11 years who for some reason was worse this year than any .. i started using goodbye flys only sunday morning twice daily , to my disbelief she came in to her stable this evening and didnt scratch and also didnt roll today .. to say im over the moon is an understatement , my horses health and happiness are of upmost importance to me , to see a horse constantly itchy and so upset due to sweetitch is very sad they dont get to relax and enjoy their turnout like a horse without and changes their character sometimes, if 10* could be given for goodbye flys id give it .. in a few days its changed our lives for the better , when i say ive used and tryed everything on the market i have and if i was to mention them all id be here for a week�, sarah is absolutely wonderful to deal with from start to finish and its so wonderful to actually have a person behind the product who is so kind and imformative is rare these days .. thank you so much .. youve no idea what changes youve made to our lives to have happy horses ���hope its ok i have invited a few people to like your page whos horses will also benifit from using this magic product , and its also far cheaper than a lot of stuff ive tried in the past .. defitinly does what it says on the tin 10/10

An absolutely incredible product. My chestnut thoroughbred started to become allergic to his own sweat at the beginning of the summer, it's gradually got worse and he came out in lumps and bumps. After being recommended this product I decided to give it a go and incredible results. After only a couple of days of applying the spray before riding the bumps have completely gone and where the skin had scabbed over the hair is already starting to regrow now. Not only this, but it smells amazing too!!!
Used on hot cloth after clipping horse, took off all grease etc. Using every day and coat is really good. Great product.!
Our Jack was suffering terribly with sweet itch and just being a really itchy pony all year round, we had tried everything and spent a small fortune. I came across Goodbye Flys and after a lengthy conversation with Sarah on the phone I went ahead and we tried Goodbye Flys. We have used the product 7 times and we have gone from a red raw pony who could not be turned out with his friends as all he would do is beg each and everyone of them to groom him all day long, he would rub on every available piece of fencing so could only be turned out in a small totally itch proof paddock where he would still throw himself on the floor and rub and the positions he could get himself in to itch were unbelievable. Jack had no proper life he was rugged up constantly he was miserable and unhappy. 7 applications later we have a scab free, hair all growing back, non itchy happy pony who can now go out with his friends he grazes,it really is a wonderful product, he smells beautiful, his coat is shiny and he lives out with no rug he is easy to groom as his coat is in such lovely condition. Goodbye Flys has given Jack back his life, I really cannot recomend this enough. Thank You SOOOOO much for giving Jack back his life, oh and my eczema on my hands is so much better no cracks or sores Thank You from me too 🙂 xxx

This product is true to word. Works brilliantly against midges and my team of horses love it. Even the ones that I struggle to get near with normal fly repellent will stand there and have it put all over them! 100% recommend.

Fantastic stuff!! so pleased to see the results already on our sweetich pony!! He lost all his hair when we tried Neem oil and is sensitive to most other things, But this has been amazing! Thanks so much for introducing this too us.

On my second bottle. We love Goodbye Flys. Taz's coat has never looked shinier and the midges now leave him alone. The smell is so nice I use it on myself as well. Its so refreshing to find something that actually works !!!!

This was able to suppress the problem very well, but after a year, she began to look worse and her health began to deteriorate again. She also developed steroid-induced laminitis. Consequently I am having to rapidly reduce her steroids, and am trying Goodbye Flys as a preventative treatment for her itchiness. So far her skin condition and quality of life has improved enormously.

I was very lucky to win a bottle of this magic fly spray when my eventing pony won a class at Tall Trees BS. I hadn't heard of it until then but I have been completely amazed by the results I have seen since using it. It just brilliant! The face applicator bottle is a godsend for those hairless, sensitive areas around the eyes and muzzle. None of my ponies have had any reactions to it either. It's a big thumbs up from me! At last a fly spray that actually works.....and smells nice too!! My mare hates having fly spray put on but actually stands still when I spray her now. It leaves her hair soft with an incredible shine which hides my lack of grooming!! I react badly to horsefly and midge bites but since using this product on Rosie I haven’t had any bites so now I have much healthier skin too - no more scars! Having also used the shampoo I must say how impressed I was with how little of it was needed to rid the mud and poo monster of her stains. Sarah offers fantastic customer service quickly responding to any questions I’ve had about using goodbye flys. A superb product with a reasonable price tag!
